East Jersey Old Town Village History Day

Join us as we kick off Middlesex County's 250th Anniversary of American Independence, a multiyear series of programs and events marking the journey to a new nation. Learn about the history in your backyard from local, state and national historical organizations. Visit Revolutionary War and Civil War camps. Take a free shuttle to see exhibitions at some of our county’s historic sites including the Cornelius Low House and the Metlar-Bodine House. Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy live music, participate in hands-on activities and watch skilled artisans at work. With wagon rides, children’s crafts, food trucks and more, there is something for everyone!
